In Conversation at the Gallery: Channing Hansen & Bennett Simpson
Join artist Channing Hansen and MOCA Senior Curator Bennett Simpson for an engaging discussion in the gallery on the closing day of Cosmic Fabric, an exhibition of new work by the artist. The series on view explores Hansen’s study of the beginnings of space and time as measured by cosmic microwave background radiation, the afterglow of the Big Bang. Simpson and Hansen will discuss this inspiration as well as his unique artistic practice of processing fiber and generating patterns by computer algorithms to knit paintings.
Presented by Marc Selwyn Fine Art - a participating gallery in PST ART: Art & Science Collide.
