Curated by Rele Los Angeles’s Jac Forbes—an ardent nature and art enthusiast—this show explores the unique interplay between nature and science through the lens of contemporary art'. Occurrence brings together three visionary artists whose works harness the power of natural materials, inviting viewers to reflect on the transformative connections between organic beauty and creative expression.
Renowned painter Ronnie Rob brings a distinctive approach to his floral series, infusing his pieces with natural elements that bridge the gap between the raw and the refined. Sculptural artist Toni Scott, celebrated for her innovative use of king palms, showcases works that evoke resilience and transformation, drawing inspiration from the strength and grace of nature itself. Rounding out the exhibition is KENZAN, founded by floral artists Samadhi Bishop and Vaughn Glover, whose artistry reveals the living essence of botanical creations in striking, contemporary forms.
In addition to the exhibition opening, Rele Los Angeles is thrilled to host a special plant workshop at 3 PM, led by Samadhi Bishop and Vaughn Glover of KENZAN. This interactive experience offers guests a unique opportunity to engage directly with botanical artistry, exploring the creative process behind KENZAN’s celebrated floral installations. The gallery will also be open, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the exhibition.
Occurrence: Where the Art of Nature Meets Science will continue through the end of the year, inviting art enthusiasts, collectors, and the community to experience a thought-provoking exploration of where science and nature converge in art.
