In this multi-part program, L.A. Dance Project (LADP), explores how dance can use the science of empathy to create choreographic works that encourage public dialogue, promote self-reflection, and mobilize civic action. Presented in site-specific locations in Los Angeles, each performance of these new dances will be followed by a moderated conversation, reflection, and calls to action. With the aim of making the project as accessible as possible, performance sites are near public transportation, easily navigable, and offer free admission and audio description.
