Pelvic Floor Galore: For All Folx

Dec
7
2024

In this enriching workshop, study and explore the intricate world of pelvic anatomy, function, and common issues affecting all genders. Enjoyable movement practices—including the famous Kegels!—and discussion will provide a thorough introduction to gender-affirming care to bridge the gap in pelvic health education and services. The workshop will be followed by a conversation with Pelvic Sanctuary founder AL Schulte and Scientia Sexualis co-curators Jennifer Doyle and Jeanne Vaccaro around LGBTQIA+ “special considerations”— areas commonly bypassed by healthcare services and wellness professionals.

This program is presented in collaboration with Pelvic Sanctuary. Pelvic Sanctuary, a charitable 501©(3) organization, is dedicated to decolonizing the paradigm of pelvic health through inclusive and culturally competent education. We prioritize the needs and experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals and Sex Workers, acknowledging and addressing the intersections of their identities.
