Harbinger Performance
In the performance Harbinger, Monroe Isenberg presents mirrored Joshua tree sculptures that roam the desert in search of a new home. These alien yet familiar forms reflect the sky, land, and light, moving with playful and unique personalities. Accompanied by a live sonic response from Elori Saxl, the performance transforms the desert into an uncanny twilight realm where imagination and reality interweave. This immersive experience invites audiences to foster a deeper appreciation for the iconic Joshua tree and desert ecology. Join Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) in experiencing this intersection of art and nature August 10th sundown at Art in Residence, Lancaster.
Presented in conjunction with the Lancaster Museum of Art and History's (MOAH) PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibition Desert Forest: Life with Joshua Trees.
