Breathing Life into Clay, with Wayne Perry
Oct132024
As part of his Breath(e) project, Grounded, Ron Finley hosts a series of workshops in his temporary garden at the Hammer Museum, led by local artists. Each workshop can accommodate up to 20 participants, with all materials provided by the instructors. Availability is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, with a sign-up sheet available in the museum lobby starting one hour before the program.
Master potter Wayne Perry leads a creative experience with clay, encouraging participants to experiment with various object-making processes, including sculpting, hand-pressing, and molding.
Presented in conjunction with the Hammer Museum at UCLA's PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibition Breath(e): Toward Climate and Social Justice.
