ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Nadine Huguez is a Chicana artist living in La Puente, California. She studied Fine Art at California State University, Fullerton. An aspiring mountaineer, she hiked for 7 days in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains in 2015. Her artwork is inspired by the landscapes she has experienced, as well as her personal memories, photos, and sketches. Huguez’s work aims to communicate how the city interconnects with wilderness, and that every person has a connection to nature that can help to empower them.
Presented in conjunction with the Vincent Price Art Museum's PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibition We Place Life at the Center / Situamos La Vida en El Centro.
